How this works:
- Trainee finds an internship
opportunity and discusses applicability with a member of the Atlanta BEST
Program OR An Internship partner connects with the BEST program to set up an internship experience, use this Initial Request form
- Trainee and Internship Partner meet to discuss possible activities, experiences, and goals for the internships
- Trainee submits the Online Application
- Application reviewed by the BEST Track Leader associated with the relevant career track to review goals and outcomes, signature approval needed
- Trainee Faculty adviser reviews the application and time commitment with the trainee, signature approval needed
- Trainee and Internship Partner sign application
- Depending on the nature of the internship, trainees may be asked to file a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which they will complete as an independent contractor, not representing Emory of Georgia Tech
- Interns begin their Internship
- Trainees will present once to a group of BEST trainees and leadership to discuss progress, insights, and challenges
- A final 2-3 page report on their experiences will be required of the trainee
- A post-internship survey will be completed by the Internship partner
