Process and Resources



How this works:
  1.  Trainee finds an internship opportunity and discusses applicability with a member of the Atlanta BEST Program OR An Internship partner connects with the BEST program to set up an internship experience, use this Initial Request form
  2. Trainee and Internship Partner meet to discuss possible activities, experiences, and goals for the internships
  3. Trainee submits the Online Application
  4. Application reviewed by the BEST Track Leader associated with the relevant career track to review goals and outcomes, signature approval needed
  5. Trainee Faculty adviser reviews the application and time commitment with the trainee, signature approval needed
  6. Trainee and Internship Partner sign application
  7. Depending on the nature of the internship, trainees may be asked to file a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which they will complete as an independent contractor, not representing Emory of Georgia Tech
  8. Interns begin their Internship
  9. Trainees will present once to a group of BEST trainees and leadership to discuss progress, insights, and challenges 
  10. A final 2-3 page report on their experiences will be required of the trainee
  11. A post-internship survey will be completed by the Internship partner
